Drive Traffic

You've got a great product, but how do you get people to try it, or how do you get them to your website to learn more?

Technology is advancing quickly, and every day there are new methods of linking people to your website, or offering more information on your product or service.

In the automotive world, a TEST DRIVE OFFER is probably the best-known traditional method of driving traffic to your location, and that term is now generic for an offer of an incentive to bring people into your door to see your product, try it out, test it for themselves.  An off-shoot of this is a "sampling" program that can be in-store or by direct mail; a way to get a sample of your product into the consumer's hands to experience.

BRINGING PEOPLE TO YOUR WEBSITE. An increasing concern. You've built a terrific information-packed website -- how do you get people to visit? There are several strategies that can be implemented to encourage traffic on your site, and even make it mandatory to visit the site in order to participate in a particular promotion. Some concepts that Design Incentives can help you to develop:

1. Electronic gift certificates or gift cards that can be redeemed on line, linked from your website.

2. "Decoder" piece that is actually held up to the computer screen (on your web page) to reveal what the participant has "won".

3.  Variable ratio scratch-off card (in print or on line).  Consumers scratch off 5 squares to reveal the points won - must access the website to redeem points for prizes.

4. Interactive games linked from your website.
